Welcome to Polton All Stars

At Polton Allstars Daycare we take time together to connect and create a place of emotional warmth and of wonder.

We believe babies and young children have the right to an early childhood filled with discovery, joy and friendships; play is at the heart of what we do. We offer creative freedom inviting each child to learn about their world and beyond, supported at every step by our nurturing and knowledgeable educators.

Our Fundamentals

Come and see us

Feeling Safe

Everything starts with feeling safe. Every child has a key person who learns their comforter, their favourite book and how they like to be held when they are tired, and who works closely with you so that care here and care at home feel like one thing. Kindness is the starting point every time, and there is always a cuddle going.

All Weathers

Outdoors gives them room to be loud and a quiet corner to sit in, mud to dig and things to grow. We go out in the rain and the cold, waterproofs and wellies in every size, and nature comes back inside with us, in baskets of leaves, conkers, shells and stones to sort through and wonder at.

Their Pace

The day has a shape children can rely on, and it moves at their pace rather than ours. Babies sleep and feed when they need to, not when a timetable says so. We keep the rhythm close to the one they know at home, so the day makes sense to them, and nobody is hurried through anything or woken for the sake of the clock.

Always Moving

Movement builds brains. Little ones need room to roll, crawl, climb, balance and fall over safely, so we give them space and time rather than seats and screens. A child who can control every muscle finds sitting still easy when it finally matters, which comes later, and it comes more easily for having waited.

Every Voice

Every voice counts here, whether it arrives as words, signs, pointing or a shout, and we listen to whichever one a child chooses. We talk, read, sing and make things up all day long, because being understood is how children learn to speak and because it is one of the best parts of the day.

In their words

What our parents think of us

I was worried his speech was a little delayed, but he soon came on leaps and bounds once he started here. They are always finding creative ways for him to express himself.
Leanne EMum to a little boy
From day one the staff have been warm and welcoming. It's clear they genuinely care, and the communication is brilliant — regular updates and photos really put my mind at ease.
Lucy MMum to a child
My youngest is on the SEND register and the staff have been so supportive — they have offered support to us all as a family. Both boys absolutely love it.
